A high-arched neck, a powerful croup, elevated, round movements: Andalusians captivate with their presence and nobility, but also with their character and willingness to learn.
Their rounder shapes, knee action and higher collection, together with an often not very pronounced wither, mean that Andalusians and other Baroque horses have very particular requirements when it comes to saddle fitting.

Exactly these questions prompted our family many years ago to think about developing an own saddle model. Initially just for our own horses. Because since 1992, we have been breeding Pure Spanish Breed horses (P.R.E.) at our own private stud at Möningerberg.
No sooner said than done: together with saddlers and trainers, we developed the first "Ibero" in 1999. A saddle model that combines the advantages of classical Spanish saddles with those of modern saddles. A saddle that can evolve along with our horses.

Andalusian Horses and Other Special Breeds: Late Developers with Enormous Potential
Andalusians and other special breeds often still change considerably between the ages of 4 and 8. So it's important with the saddle: make sure the gullet width is easily adjustable and the padding can be changed. That way your saddle grows with your horse and adapts to it.
