Andrea S. with Ibero Escuela on Freddyisready: "The advice was super competent, very friendly..."
Hello dear Iberosattel® team,
I have had an Ibero Escuela since 11 December and am absolutely thrilled.
My horse “Freddyisready” is an Irish Thoroughbred and was still racing last year. Unfortunately, despite some partly “flexible saddle systems,” none of the saddles fitted him among my other Thoroughbreds.
Fredchen is only 1.58 m small and would actually have no difficult back (neither short nor narrow, little wither, normal swing) if it weren’t for his pronounced, sloping shoulder, which makes him look more like a burly Quarter Horse than a fine-limbed Thoroughbred.
After several comments from representatives of well-known manufacturers and adventurous padding suggestions, I really felt like I had a completely impossible horse to fit (or maybe more of a camel).
My surprise was all the greater when my animal naturopath brought along the Amazona Dressage Comfort 3000 belonging to her rather plump Haflinger mare, and after a brief test-fit said that I could actually just ride off. I was allowed to try the saddle for a week and was convinced by the seating comfort and Fredchen’s looseness.
What won me over completely, though, was the service: Gunnar Wiedner not only found time to visit us in Switzerland within that same week, but also brought along my preferred models plus some accessories for me to try.
The advice was super competent, very friendly and patient.
After more than two hours the decision was made, and I was able to keep my favourite right away.
The Ibero Escuela is not only super comfortable and brings me close to the horse – I sit more consciously and upright. On top of that, the saddle is also an absolute eye-catcher visually and beautifully finished!
After one month, a positive development of the back muscles is already noticeable, and above all the quality of the trot.
Although my big one (Thoroughbred, 1.70 m, stallion type) already has a well-fitting and comfortable saddle, I’m tempted to order him the El Primero, which also convinced me a great deal in the test. :-)
Kind regards
Andrea S.
