Dear Iberosattel® team,
finally I get around to writing something about our new dream saddle.
I’m basically a repeat offender… almost two years ago I found my first Iberosattel® with you for my Icelandic mare, and I’ve been mega happy and satisfied with it ever since, and now, a few weeks ago, I also got the Iberosattel® for my Icelandic gelding. I actually thought the amazing saddle from my mare couldn’t be topped. Wrong: our second saddle is an absolute dream!
I have to mention that this is already our third (custom-made) saddle within almost 6 years. Except that the two saddles we had before turned out, in hindsight, to unfortunately be bad purchases. From the respective saddlers, all I heard was: “He’s just so short, nothing fits properly on him,” or “Go saddle a barrel, you won’t get it any better than that.”
Okay, my pony is short and square… but that’s no reason to fit him with an ill-fitting saddle. Miriam thought so too. Even more: instead of all those silly comments, she finally had suitable solutions for us. I could hardly believe how different my pony felt under me with an Iberosattel®.
Miriam also took a huge amount of time for us with the second saddle and advised me kindly and competently on all questions. And sometimes I do have specific, very particular ideas. With Iberosattel®, none of that was a problem. I felt very well advised, and our new saddle only confirmed my feeling. I got on and immediately felt right at home. The saddle doesn’t just look the way I imagined, it’s as if it was made for me. Super comfortable from the very first second, and my pony moves with it mega relaxed and content. It doesn’t get any better than that! Our trainer thinks so too, by the way. ;-)
I’d also like to give you a huge extra bit of praise here for your quick and uncomplicated help in our emergency: since our “old” saddle no longer fit at all, your loan saddle was our rescue in that moment of need, and it helped us bridge the waiting time perfectly.
