Paul and Astrid: "Even during the test ride of your saddles, I had a grin on my face from the very first moment I got on..."
Dear Iberosattel® team,
thank you so much for my wonderful Ibero Escuela!
Even during the test ride of your saddles, I had a grin on my face from the very first moment I got on, and immediately, for the first time, the feeling that “it doesn’t feel like a saddle, it feels like riding without a saddle, but with support!” My horse immediately moved very freely and clearly enjoyed the fact that I could follow his movement directly and give very fine aids.
In no other saddle had I ever been able to feel the three-dimensional movement of the horse’s back so instantly, finely and precisely. The saddle passes on every last bit of crookedness to the rider – in my view even amplified. In addition, the Ibero Escuela supports me very subtly through its rear panel. It reminds me, without forcing me, to sit up straighter and hold my pelvis with a bit of positive tension. For me that means that I can finally give my horse, everywhere, exactly the same fine aids through the guidance of the saddle, which allows me a more stable and calmer seat than bareback, that I had previously only been able to give in the arena without a saddle. And conversely, my horse can perceive and accept exactly the same fine aids, because the transmission of aids between horse and rider is equally precise in both directions.
Many thanks to Simone Garnreiter, who advised me so well and fitted this saddle to my horse perfectly.
The only question left is how I ever managed to “ride properly” with a “saddle” before…?
Warmest regards from a happy horse-and-rider team!
