Let Us Introduce: Our Team

We are very lucky, and we are grateful for it. We live and work in one of the most beautiful regions of Bavaria. We are a large family that has already achieved a great deal, and that still has so much more planned. We live here at Möningerberg with more than 30 dream horses, surrounded by meadows, hills and green.

Good work
Building fences, bringing in the hay, foals being born, the cycle of nature. Accompanying young horses on their first steps, introducing them to bridle and saddle and getting them used to the finer points of the aids: all of this keeps us grounded and gives us energy for the full range of our tasks.

Patrick’s wife Birgit Thoma is responsible for marketing and for keeping in touch with customers and dealers. Birgit loves giving advice and pulls all the threads together, in every respect. Riding is her balance, and even there her ambition never leaves her.

Tanja Litzelman looks after all customers and dealers at Iberosattel® and is, above all, responsible for international sales. Here it helps her, and us, that she speaks fluent English. Tanja is also our expert for vaulting and driving. She has ridden long-distance trail rides across the whole of Germany. She inherited her love of horses from her grandfather and her aunt.

Elisabeth Baumann is our innovative, creative mind for all customer questions around the design of our felt saddle pads and matching accessories for the saddle. She is responsible for the Iberosattel® online shop and has shipping firmly under control.

Rebecca Dorr is our finance expert. Day-to-day bookkeeping, bank transfers and invoicing: these and many other tasks have been in her safe hands for many years.

Andreas Lange has been our online marketing manager for many years. We might not always be entirely sure what on earth SEO, SEA, SISTRIX or Key Performance Indicators are, but Andreas makes sure that customers can find our website and our shop online, that our web presence is informative, sensibly structured and user-friendly, and that it works perfectly on computer, phone and tablet alike. Among other things, he does this with search engine optimization, search engine advertising and KPI analysis. Andreas lives in Weimar in the heart of Thuringia, loves being out in nature, and loves horses.

Stefan Wolfrum works for us in Bavaria. He is our colleague and friend on the team. He got actively into riding at the age of 10, and horses have never let go of him since. With his knowledge as an equine physiotherapist (DIPO), Stefan brings an important new dimension to our work. He has run his own practice since 2009. Stefan holds the German Riding Badge III (Bronze). In dressage and show jumping he has placed up to level M. But for him, it is not tournament success but the health of the horse that matters most. Equine physiotherapy combined with the development and fitting of saddles: that is an ideal combination that won us over immediately.

Carina Wick works for us in Lower Saxony (Hanover area). She has been close to horses since she was a small child, has a classic riding background (riding club, part-loan horse, her own horse, classic English riding and baroque riding) and also has experience in Friesian breeding and training, feed management, hair analysis and bioresonance. Carina has been an equine physiotherapist since 2012 and has practised equine osteopathy since 2018.

Yvonne Kuhl works for us in North Rhine-Westphalia. She is a certified equine osteopath and physiotherapist as well as a thermographer, ground-work trainer and communication trainer. Her motto: “Iberosattel® saddles have outstanding pressure distribution and are therefore very well suited to keeping the horse healthy under saddle.” Yvonne is active in working equitation and garrocha work, as well as fire shows with her own horses.

Simone Garnreiter works for us in Hamburg . For her, an Iberosattel® is the all-rounder she had always been looking for: made to measure, adjustable, comfortable for horse and rider, and equally suited to refined riding from the seat and to hacking out. A saddle for everything, one that stays with you for a long time and supports the communication between horse and rider. Simone has many years of experience as a holistic trainer for horse and rider, as well as in the rehabilitation of horses. She is also trained in osteopathy, physiotherapy, saddle fitting, hoof care, acupuncture and communication.

Gunnar Wiedner works for us in Baden-Württemberg, Switzerland and France. As a trainer of the École de Légèreté, he has many years of experience in training riders and horses. Every rider, from beginner to advanced, is welcome to work with him. The goal of his work is a contented horse that responds to the smallest, almost invisible aids, so that complete harmony develops between rider and horse. The horse should move effortlessly beneath the rider and radiate joy in its work. Refined riding at a high level is possible for every rider, regardless of breed. Mutual respect and clear communication, from the ground and from the saddle, are the foundation for a positive development of the relationship between human and horse.

Marlies Dieball works for us in Bremen. Under the motto “Friendship with the Horse”, she works as a holistic trainer for horse and rider. Her clients want to learn how to communicate correctly with their horses and keep them healthy. That includes the right saddle. She recommends Iberosattel® wholeheartedly: the wide bearing surface is ideal for distributing saddle pressure evenly across the horse’s back. Further advantages are the outstanding comfort and the secure seat it gives the rider.

Vojtech Hajek works for us in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Vojtech has worked for many years as a holistic animal physiotherapist, animal osteopath and animal naturopath. In working with Iberosattel®, he also sees an opportunity to help horses that have developed pain and poor posture due to ill-fitting saddles. What excites him about Iberosattel® is the made-to-measure approach with generous scope for visual and functional design, and the fact that the saddles can be adjusted throughout the horse’s whole life.

Petra Kühmayer works for us in Austria (Tyrol / Salzburg region). She has spent every free minute in the stable since childhood. Her own horses presented her with a variety of challenges, and so she kept on developing further, from training as a manual equine therapist (DE) to hoof care and many courses in classical dressage and working equitation. She is currently training as a “Zentaurus health trainer for horses and trainer for classical dressage” in order to help as many horses as possible.

Irene Boss works for us in the Frankfurt area. As a long-standing trainer of the École de Légèreté and a specialist in seat training with extensive further qualifications, she stands for classical riding art in the spirit of the horse. The goal of her work is a balanced horse with a balanced rider, working together in harmony. To achieve this, she uses gymnastic exercises that help horse and rider develop balance, flexibility and mobility, correct the horse’s natural crookedness and improve its carrying capacity. In ground work, she brings her broad physiotherapeutic knowledge to bear. And she knows: without the right equipment, and especially the right saddle, it simply does not work.

Saskia Schramm works for us in the Berlin and Brandenburg area. As a horsemanship trainer and equine-assisted coach, she brings great passion for harmonious cooperation between human and horse. Alongside selling our high-quality saddles, individual advice is very close to her heart, to make sure every horse gets the best possible comfort.

Maria Göbel works for us in Saxony and Switzerland. As a trained equine management specialist with a focus on husbandry, riding educator and riding therapist, she brings comprehensive expertise and many years of practice. Her passion is horse-friendly, sustainable riding, with a focus on anatomy, movement dynamics and individual saddle fit. She advises with sensitivity, listens closely and works with her customers to find the best solution for horse and rider.
